Design and Styling
The new-gen Benelli 180S comes with a revamped design that looks sleek and aggressive. It features a muscular fuel tank with an extended cowl that looks derived from its bigger siblings. The chunky inverted front forks give it an aggressive stance. The new LED headlamp setup looks sleek and appealing. This streetfighter has a sleek and compact tail section. It comes with lightweight alloy wheels and it gets a sporty side-slung exhaust.
Engine, Gearbox, and Performance
The Benelli 180S is powered by a single-cylinder, 175.3cc, four-stroke engine. Its engine has a compression ratio of 11:1 and it uses a TLI Ignition system. The single-cylinder engine of this streetfighter is liquid-cooled and it uses an electronic fuel injection system. It comes mated to a 6-speed transmission and it gets a wet multi-plate clutch. The engine of Benelli 180S produces 17.83 HP of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and 14 Nm of maximum torque at 7,000 rpm.
Suspension and Brakes
This entry-level streetfighter is equipped with premium inverted front forks. At the rear, it is fitted with a swingarm-linked mono-shock absorber. The front suspension has a travel of 110 mm while the rear suspension has a travel of only 50 mm. The Benelli 180S comes with disc brakes on the front and rear wheels, but it misses out on an ABS system.
