Nissan has not given this sedan any major design overhaul for a long time but it still looks swanky and appealing. The zone body construction with crumple zones and high-strength steel side-door guard beams improve the safety of the Nissan Maxima. It features an independent strut suspension at the front end and a multi-link suspension at the rear end. It is also equipped with stabilizer bars at both ends. For braking, it relies on vented disc brakes with ABS on all four wheels. Nissan Maxima features 19 Inch machined finished aluminium alloy wheels that are paired with W-rated all-season tyres. The Nissan Maxima price in India is expected to be in the range of Rs 31.12 to 36.11 Lakh. The pricing mentioned here is excluding import duties and taxes. Currently, Nissan has not revealed any information regarding the launch possibility of the Maxima Sedan in the Indian market.
Our Verdict on the Nissan Maxima
The Maxima looks quite appealing even though it has not been restyled for a while now. Its interior boasts an amazing fit and finish and it is packed with a good amount of standard features. The standard V6 powertrain on this sedan delivers solid power and performance. However, the CVT gearbox feels a little dull. Nissan has loaded its flagship sedan with tons of standard driver assistance and safety features. The Nissan Maxima is not the best option out there and it feels a little outdated against its modern competitors like Volkswagen Arteon & Toyota Avalon.
